Right now I'm only interested in Term Life Insurance.
There may be several life insurance companies that would consider you for life insurance; however, you may want to shop around and compare pricing from multiple insurers to find out which carriers will offer coverage based on your own personal underwriting factors.
When offering quotes for life insurance, the insurance company considers several factors in developing your rate, including your age, gender, health, family health history, height-to-weight ratio, occupation, hobbies, driving record, if you smoke or not, etc.
The life insurance companies have a table of acceptable weight limits based on how tall you are. If you meet the acceptable weight range for your height, you may be accepted for life insurance coverage.
If oyu are outside the acceptable weight limit for your height, you may need to consider a guaranteed acceptance life insurance plan which provides graded benefits for the first 2 years you own the life insurance policy. After two years, you usually have full coverage for your life insurance.
