I am taking medicine for it and didn't get second attack after that.
I am planning to buy a term life insurance. The application form contains a question whether I have epilepsy problem. Now I am confused whether i should give correct information or not. Because if i give correct info, i would get problems in making any claim because I will have lot of restrictions. e.g if I tell insurance company that I had an epilepsy attack, and in future suppose if I die while driving any vehicle, company will reject my claim saying epileptic person should not drive vehicle.
Suppose I hide my medical condition from insurance company, in future they will come to know.
So how should I proceed? Can someone please guide me here?
You should always answer all questions truthfully on your application for life insurance. If you do not, and you lied about your health, any material misrepresentation may end up with the life insurance declining to pay any claim on your life insurance policy if you die as a result of something you lied about and it caused your death.
However, there are some insurers that offer high risk life insurance plans for people with health conditions. Some plans may offer a limited amount of life insurance, and the full coverage may not be available until you have owned the life insurance for at least two years, but it may be better than no life insurance. Here's how you can learn about high risk life insurance and request your free quote.
