Did you hear about the meteor that hit Russia over night, injuring over 500 people? They say there were no fatalities, but it makes you wonder.
What if a meteor hit and you died from it. Would your life insurance company pay out a death benefit to your family because you died from a meteor strike? Is it covered by your life insurance policy, or is there some sort of exclusion?
We know there are common exclusions in life insurance policies for War and Suicide (up to 2 years after buying your life insurance policy).
But, what about death resulting from a meteor strike, is it some sort of Act of God excluded by your life insurance policy?
Maybe you want to call your life insurance agent just to check it out and be on the safe side. You never know where the next meteor may hit, right.
