If you have a 10 year return premium term life insurance plan and the coverage expires after 10 years, you would receive a large portion of the premiums you had paid into the policy over the ten year period.
Although return premium term life provides a return of your premiums if you outlive the policy term, it does cost more. The premiums for regular term life insurance are much lower than return premium term life policies.
However, if you believe you will be alive in 10 years and want to take a chance, then maybe you want to consider buying return premium term life insurance coverage.
